Ms. Kirschbaum stated that since February 2008 staff had held 11 public workshops and has made tremendous progress in applying the principals of the TEP.  Staff had focused on the capital program, including the “State of Good Repair” and vehicle reliability.  Ms. Kirschbaum provided a DVD of the TEP Implementation Strategy dated April 5, 2011 to the Council.

The Implementation strategy identifies the funding needed to reduce travel time, improve customer experience and continuing to develop relationships with communities, Muni and employees to make the project a success.  The TEP did not recommend changes to Market, Geary or Van Ness.  The Geary BRT will address these corridors.
