Pursuant to DPT Order No. 3364, adopted January 8, 2007, the Department of Parking and Traffic will hold a public hearing on Friday, May 25, 2007, at 10:00 am, in Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, located at One Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA, to solicit public input on the proposed changes described below.

Opinions on the proposed changes may be filed in writing prior to the hearing with the City Traffic Engineer at the Traffic Engineering Division, 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103-5417. Written opinions may also be transmitted to the Traffic Engineering Division via fax at 701-4737. They will become part of the official public record and will be brought to the attention of the person(s) conducting the hearing. Information on the proposed changes may also be obtained from the Traffic Engineering Division or by telephone at 701-4500.

PASSENGER LOADING (WHITE) ZONE, AT ALL TIMES - ESTABLISH
1890 Clay Street, north side, from 0 to 20 feet east of westerly driveway (20-foot zone).

PASSENGER LOADING (WHITE) ZONE, 7AM TO 10PM, DAILY - ESTABLISH
1221 Jones Street, west side, from 30 to 50 feet south of northerly property line (20-foot zone).

TAXI ZONE – REVOKE
398 McAllister Street, north side, from Polk Street to 20 feet easterly (20-foot zone at parking meter no. 338).

PART-TIME PASSENGER LOADING ZONE, 7 AM TO 8 AM AND 4:30 PM TO 5:30 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY – REVOKE
175 Golden Gate Avenue, south side, from 92 feet to 134 feet east of Leavenworth Street (42-foot zone).

PART-TIME PASSENGER LOADING ZONE, 7:30 AM TO 5:30 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY – ESTABLISH
175 Golden Gate Avenue, south side, from 92 feet to 155 feet east of Leavenworth Street (63-foot zone; removes parking meters 135, 133, 131).

Note: The above two items lengthen the existing passenger loading zone. The school is open all year, Monday through Friday.

30-MINUTE GREEN METER – REVOKE
1899 Polk Street, west side, from 7 to 29 feet south of Jackson Street (22-foot zone at parking meter no. 1833-G).

30-MINUTE GREEN METER – ESTABLISH
1897 Polk Street, west side, from 29 to 51 feet south of Jackson Street (22-foot zone at parking meter no. 1831).

COMMERCIAL LOADING (YELLOW) ZONE, 8AM TO 6PM, MONDAY THRU SATURDAY – REVOKE

COMMERCIAL LOADING (YELLOW) ZONE, 8AM TO 6PM, MONDAY THRU SATURDAY – ESTABLISH

Note: The above four items exchange the locations of the existing green and yellow zones.

“340” San Fernando Way, west side, from 20 feet to 130 feet north of the mid-block crosswalk (110-foot zone).

SHORT TERM 10 MINUTE (GREEN) ZONE, 9AM TO 6PM, MONDAY THRU SATURDAY – ESTABLISH
1396 La Playa Street, from 18 to 36 feet north of Judah Street (18-foot zone).

Note: this item would extend the existing green zone by one additional space.

COMMERCIAL LOADING (YELLOW) ZONE, 8AM TO 6PM, MONDAY THRU SATURDAY – ESTABLISH
200 Balboa Street, from 1 to 23 feet west of 3rd Avenue (22-foot zone).

3075 – 17th Street Street, south side, from 87 to 145 feet east of Folsom Street (58-foot zone).

3075 17th Street Street, south side, from 0 to 20 feet west of 3075 17th Street property driveway (20-foot zone).

Note: The above two items relocate and shorten the existing yellow zone.

| 177 Townsend Street, south side, from 23 to 65 feet east of westerly property line (42-foot zone at meter numbers to be established).
