The Director of Parking and Traffic will hold a public hearing on Friday, September 4, 2009, at10:00 AM, in Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, SanFrancisco, CA 94102, to consider the following proposals: PARKING METER AREA 3 (2-HOUR TIME LIMIT, 9 AM TO 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY) - ESTABLISH 8th Street, both sides, between Bryant and Townsend Streets; Brannan Street, both sides, between 8th and 7th Streets. NO PARKING ANYTIME – ESTABLISH Folsom Street, east side, between Chapman Street and Powhattan Avenue; Prentiss Street, both sides, between Chapman Street and Powhattan Avenue. RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "S" (2-HOUR TIME LIMIT, 8 AM - 9 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY) – ESTABLISH Noe Street, west side, between Duboce Avenue and 14th Street. RED ZONE – ESTABLISH Lincoln Way, south side, from 34th Avenue to 52 feet westerly (52-foot zone). RED ZONE – EXTEND Lincoln Way, south side, from 34th Avenue to 20 feet easterly (extends 12-foot zone by 8 feet). TRAFFIC SIGNAL – ESTABLISH Powell Street and Washington Street; Clarendon Avenue and Panorama Drive. STOP SIGN – ESTABISH Wisconsin Street at 19th Street, stopping the stem of this uncontrolled T intersection. TOW AWAY NO STOPPING ANYTIME – RESCIND 17TH Street, north side, from Hartford Street to 37 feet westerly. COMMERCIAL LOADING ZONE, 9 AM TO 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY – ESTABLISH 17th Street, north side, from 10 feet west of Hartford Street to 27-feet westerly. TALL VEHICLE (OVER 6 FEET) RESTRICTION – ESTABLISH Acadia Street, east and west sides, from Joost Avenue to approximately 20 feet southerly. NO LEFT TURNS EXCEPT MUNI - ESTABLISH Market Street, eastbound, at the intersection of Market, Sansome and Sutter Streets (adds Muni exemption to existing No Left Turn regulation). BUS STOP – RESCIND Wisconsin Street, east side, south of 20th Street (nearside). BUS ZONES – ESTABLISH Cesar Chavez Street, south side, from Valencia Street to 80 feet easterly (80-foot bus zone); Cesar Chavez Street, south side, from Mission Street to 80 feet easterly (80- foot bus zone); Folsom Street, east side, from Cesar Chavez Street to 80 feet northerly (80- foot bus zone). METERED LOADING ZONE – RESCIND MOTORCYCLE PARKING – ESTABLISH Sansome Street, west side, from 71 feet to 179 feet south of Bush Street (establishes 30 motorcycle spaces at meters 15, 19, 21, 23, and 25).
