FOR PUBLIC HEARING

 

The Sustainable Streets Division of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency will hold a public hearing on Friday, June 15, 2012, at 10:00 AM, in Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA 94102, to consider the following proposals:

ESTABLISH – STOP SIGNS

Stopping Anza Street at 4th Avenue, making this intersection an all-way STOP

ESTABLISH – RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA S, 2-HOUR PARKING,
8 AM TO 9 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Hickory Street, 300 Block, South side, between Octavia Street and terminus west of Octavia Street (331 Octavia Street)

ESTABLISH – STOP SIGNS

Stopping Jennings Street at Armstrong Avenue, making this intersection an all-way STOP

ESTABLISH – 90 DEGREE COMPACT VEHICLE PARKING

Vallejo Street, south side, between the east and west sidewalks of Broderick Street (establishes three compact parking spaces)

ESTABLISH – NO PARKING ANYTIME

ESTABLISH – SIDEWALK WIDENING

San Bruno Avenue, west side, from Burrows Street to 29 feet northerly (widens sidewalk by
six feet, removes one parking metered space)

San Bruno Avenue, east side, from Burrows Street to 21 feet southerly (widens sidewalk by
six feet)

RESCIND – PARKING METERS, 1-HOUR TIME LIMIT, AREA 3, 7 AM TO 6 PM,
MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

San Bruno Avenue, west side, from 12 feet to 30 feet north of Burrows Street (removes meter #2544)

ESTABLISH – CROSSWALK

Sunset Boulevard, north side, at Ulloa Street (revokes crosswalk closure)

ESTABLISH – CROSSWALK

18th Street, east side at Market Street (removes existing crosswalk to the median island)

ESTABLISH – NO PARKING ANY TIME

18th Street, south side, approximately 125 feet to 155 feet east of 19th Street in the vicinity of 4767-4773 18th Street (in conjunction with a new 6-foot wide sidewalk bulb)

 

The purpose of traffic engineering hearings for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) Sustainable Streets Division is for residents to express their concerns regarding the posted parking and traffic changes affecting their streets.At the hearing, the public hearing officer, after reviewing the items and listening to residents, will make a decision as to whether the items are approved or not.Any interested parties are encouraged to attend.
