1. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Brinkman at 9:02 a.m.

2. Roll Call

3. Approval of Minutes

On motion to approve the minutes of the January 20, 2012: unanimously approved (Lee-absent).

4. Director’s Report

No report.

5. Public Comment

Edward Mason described an incident with a double deck commuter bus in Noe Valley that disrupted traffic on 24th Street.

6. Presentation, discussion and possible action of upcoming SFMTA Board/Parking Authority Commission items. (No explanatory documents.)

  • FY13 and FY14 proposed Service Standards

Travis Fox, Manager, Finance and Information Technology presented the proposed service standards.

No public comment.

  • Update on "Crossroads Traffic" reporting and handheld ticketing devices

Lea Militello, Commander, presented the update. No public comment.

  • Operations Scorecard

John Haley, Director, Transit Services reviewed the scorecard.

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Edward Mason expressed appreciation for the creative look at procurement. He expressed hope that the SFMTA has talked to other agencies about their experience with hybrid vehicles with regard to maintenance issues and defects. San Francisco has a treacherous terrain that impacts vehicle specifications.

7. Presentation, discussion and possible action regarding the operation of the SFMTA Board of Directors/Parking Authority Commission.

None.
