1.  Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Beach at 10:09 a.m.

3. Approval of Minutes

On motion to approve the minutes of the November 4, 2010: unanimously approved.

4. Executive Director’s Report

No report.

5. Public Comment

None.

6. Discussion of upcoming SFMTA Board/Parking Authority Commission items. (No explanatory documents.)

Joy Houlihan, deputy director, Parking Enforcement, presented the staff report. 

No public comment.

Chairman Beach asked that an update on enforcement be provided to PAG in April.

  • Residential Parking Permits for child care providers

Bond Yee, director, Sustainable Streets, presented the staff report.

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Roxanne Stachon, Golden Gate Mother’s Group, stated that there’s a safety issue with child care providers who leave the house to move their car and leaving their children unattended in the home.  She expressed appreciation to staff for recognizing this issue and for being willing to work out a solution.  Ms. Stachon supports the proposal and hopes to get it implemented soon to resolve the safety issue. 

  • N Judah sidewalk bulbs

Bond Yee and Britt Tanner presented the staff report.

  • One-hour time limit for broken or inoperable parking meters
  • Employee parking fee
  • Off street parking pricing enforcement

Sonali Bose, director, Finance and Information Technology presented the report on the three items related to parking.

  • Advertising contract

Chairman Beach asked that the matter be forwarded to the SFMTA Board for discussion.

7.  Discussion regarding the operation of the SFMTA Board of Directors/Parking Authority Commission. 

No items.

8. Discussion and vote pursuant to Administrative Code Section 67.10(d) as to whether to conduct a closed session and invoke the attorney‑client privilege.

The closed session was cancelled.
