The program provides construction training to San Francisco residents for potential job opportunities in San Francisco public projects. This appropriation funds a work order to the Department of Environment for overseeing San Francisco's Integrated Pest Management Program (IPM). Under the IPM Ordinance, the program is supported by work orders from the seven departments most involved in pest management activities. The services include reviewing exemption requests for pesticide products, conducting toxicological screenings, and providing pesticide applicator user trainings and web-based pesticide database trainings.
