FOR PROPOSED PARKING & TRAFFIC CHANGES

Pursuant to DPT Order No. 3335 adopted March 26, 2007 the Department of Parking and Traffic will hold a public hearing to solicit public input on the following proposed changes. The hearing will be held as follows:

Date/Time: Friday, April 6, 2007, at 10:00 am
Location: Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, San Francisco
(located on Van Ness Avenue between McAllister and Grove Streets)

BLUE ZONES - ESTABLISH
Fulton Street, south side, from 18 feet to 70 feet east of Park Presidio Boulevard;
Fulton Street, south side, from 5 to 31 feet west of 10th Avenue;
10th Avenue, east side, from Fulton Street to 20 feet northerly;
Fulton Street, south side, from 5 to 57 feet west of 8th Avenue; and,
Fulton Street, south side, between the two crosswalks of 6th Avenue (removes 3 unmetered motorcycle spaces).

PARKING METER AREA NO. 3 (1-HOUR PARKING TIME LIMIT, 9 AM - 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY) -RESCIND

PARKING METER AREA NO. 3 (2-HOUR PARKING TIME LIMIT, 9 AM - 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY) - ESTABLISH
Sutter Street, north side, between Divisadero and Scott Streets; and,
Post Street, south side, between Divisadero and Scott Streets (changes meter time limit to 2 hours).

AREA 3 PARKING METERS (2 HOURS, 9 AM TO 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY) - ESTABLISH

Sutter Street, south side, between Divisadero and Scott Streets; and,
Post Street, north side, between Divisadero and Scott Streets.

TOW-AWAY, NO STOPPING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH
New Montgomery Street, east side, from Mission Street to 80 feet northerly.

MULTIPLE RIGHT TURN LANE - RESCIND
New Montgomery Street, southbound, at Mission Street.

UNMETERED MOTORCYCLE PARKING – ESTABLISH
2037 Hyde Street, west side, between the driveways for #2037 and #2041 Hyde Street (10-foot zone accommodating two motorcycle parking spaces).

PARKING METER AREA NO. 1 (1-HOUR PARKING TIME LIMIT, 7 AM - 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY) -RESCIND

RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "Y" (2-HOUR TIME LIMIT, 9 AM - 6 PM, EVERYDAY) - ESTABLISH
Clementina Street, both sides, between 1st and 2nd Streets (unit block, includes addresses on both sides for permits, but signs will only be installed on the south side).

RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "Y" (2-HOUR TIME LIMIT, 9 AM - 6 PM, EVERYDAY) - ESTABLISH
246 Second Street (no signs will be installed on 2nd Street, but residents of this 94 unit building will be eligible for Area “Y” permits).

NO PARKING ANYTIME - RESCIND
TOW-AWAY, NO PARKING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH
Elizabeth Street, north side, between Sanchez and Vicksburg Streets (300 block).

RED (NO PARKING ANYTIME) ZONES - ESTABLISH
10th Avenue, west side, from Pacheco Street to 20 feet northerly; and,
Taylor Street west side, from Ellis Street to 23 feet southerly (eliminates meter 68102310 to improve sight distances).

RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "W" (2-HOUR TIME LIMIT, 8 AM - 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY) - ESTABLISH
Hampshire Street, both sides, between 26th and Cesar Chavez Streets (1400 block).

RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "L" (2-HOUR TIME LIMIT, 8 AM - 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY) - ESTABLISH
Anza Street, both sides, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues (1100 block).

A copy of this hearing notice can be obtained at www.sfmta.com/engineering. Opinions on these proposed changes may be filed in writing prior to the hearing with the City Traffic Engineer at the Traffic Engineering Division, 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103-5417. Written opinions may also be transmitted to the Traffic Engineering Division via fax at 701-4737. Submitted opinions will become part of the official public record and will be brought to the attention of the person(s) conducting the hearing. Information on the proposed changes may be obtained from the Traffic Engineering Division at the above-referenced address or by telephone at 701-4500.
