Pursuant to DPT Order No. 3406 adopted August 29, 2007 the Department of Parking and Traffic will hold a public hearing to solicit public input on the following proposed changes. The hearing will be held as follows:

Date/Time: Friday, September 14, 2007, at 10:00 am
Location: Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, San Francisco
(located on Van Ness Avenue between McAllister and Grove Streets)

RED (NO PARKING ANYTIME) ZONE - ESTABLISH
Hammerton and Mangels Avenues, northwest corner, from fire hydrant to 30 feet easterly (for emergency vehicle access).

TOW-AWAY, NO STOPPING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH
1608 Treat Avenue, west side, from the north property line of 1651 Treat Avenue to 5 feet northerly.

COMPACT PARKING ONLY – ESTABLISH
1608 Treat Avenue, west side, from 5 feet to 12.5 feet north of the north property line of 1651 Treat Avenue (creates one compact car parking box measuring 7.5 feet wide by 13 feet long).

SPEED CUSHION - INSTALL
Santa Clara Avenue, between St. Francis Boulevard and Monterey Boulevard.

SPEED HUMP - INSTALL
Yerba Buena Avenue, between Santa Clara and Santa Paula Avenues.

STREET CLOSURE BETWEEN 11 AM AND 2 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY - ESTABLISH
Shaw Alley, between Mission and Minna Streets (for tables and chairs permit).

RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA "Z" (2-HOUR TIME LIMIT, 8 AM - 6 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY) - ESTABLISH
Church Street, both sides, between 23rd and 24th Streets (1100 block).

METERED MOTORCYCLE PARKING – ESTABLISH
Bush Street, south side, from 56 feet to 74 feet east of Franklin Street (replaces parking meter #1531 with 5 metered motorcycle spaces).

PART-TIME PASSENGER LOADING ZONE, 8:00 TO 9:00 AM and 2:00 TO 3:00 PM, SCHOOL DAYS — ESTABLISH
250 23rd Avenue, east side, from 287 feet to 347 feet north of Clement Street. (60-foot zone).

Opinions on these proposed changes may be filed in writing prior to the hearing with the City Traffic Engineer at the Traffic Engineering Division, 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103-5417. Written opinions may also be transmitted to the Traffic Engineering Division via fax at 701-4737. Submitted opinions will become part of the official public record and will be brought to the attention of the person(s) conducting the hearing.
