Pursuant to DPT Order No. 3446 adopted December 31, 2007 the Department of Parking and Traffic will hold a public hearing to solicit public input on the following proposed changes. The hearing will be held as follows:

Date/Time: Friday, January 11, 2008, at 10:00 am
Location: Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, San Francisco
(located on Van Ness Avenue between McAllister and Grove Streets)

TOW-AWAY, NO STOPPING ANY TIME - ESTABLISH
Yerba Buena Avenue, north side, from the Miraloma Drive Crosswalk to 35 feet westerly.

NO STOPPING ANYTIME – ESTABLISH
Lisbon Street, west side, from Silver Avenue to 75 feet southerly; and,
Persia Avenue, south side, from Paris Street to 31 feet westerly.

RED ZONES – ESTABLISH
Valencia Street, west side, from 15 feet north of McCoppin Street to 39 feet southerly (in conjunction with sidewalk bulbouts);
Valencia Street, west side, from 118 to 164 feet south of Duboce Avenue (in conjunction with sidewalk bulbouts);
Valencia Street, east side, from 176 to 221 feet south of Duboce Avenue (in conjunction with sidewalk bulbouts);
Valencia Street west side, from 319 to 364 feet south of Duboce Avenue (in conjunction with sidewalk bulbouts);
Valencia Street, east side, from 378 to 422 feet south of Duboce Avenue (in conjunction with sidewalk bulbouts);
McCoppin Street, south side, from Stevenson Street to 25 feet easterly (in conjunction with sidewalk bulbouts);
McCoppin Street, south side, from Jessie Street to 25 feet westerly (in conjunction with sidewalk bulbouts);

PERPENDICULAR (90-DEGREE ANGLE) PARKING - ESTABLISH
McCoppin Street, south side, from 25 feet east of Stevenson Street to 25 feet west of Jessie Street.

TOW-AWAY, NO PARKING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH
Jessie Street, west side, from McCoppin Street to 108 feet southerly;
Stevenson Street, east side, from McCoppin Street to 228 feet southerly; and,
Elgin Park, west side, from Duboce Avenue to 114 feet northerly.

NO PARKING ANYTIME - RESCIND
Jessie Street, east side, from McCoppin Street to 40 feet southerly;
Stevenson Street, west side, from McCoppin Street to 160 feet southerly; and,
Elgin Park, east side, from Duboce Avenue to 46 feet northerly.

Opinions on these proposed changes may be filed in writing prior to the hearing with the City Traffic Engineer at the Traffic Engineering Division, 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103-5417. Written opinions may also be transmitted to the Traffic Engineering Division via fax at 701-4737. Submitted opinions will become part of the official public record and will be brought to the attention of the person(s) conducting the hearing.
