Pursuant to DPT Order No. 3468 adopted March 5, 2008, the Department of Parking and Traffic will hold a public hearing to solicit public input on the following proposed changes. The hearing will be held as follows:

Date/Time: Friday, March 21, 2008, at 10:00 am
Location: Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, San Francisco (located on Van Ness Avenue between McAllister and Grove Streets)

Hudson Street, north side, from Mendell Street to the fire hydrant east of 1406 Hudson Street

STOP SIGNS - ESTABLISH
Northgate Avenue at Upland Drive Avenue, stopping the stem of this intersection; and,
Ridgewood Avenue at Joost Avenue, making this intersection an All-Way STOP.

SCHOOL BUS ZONE, 6 AM TO 5 PM, SCHOOL DAYS - RESCIND
1520 Oakdale Avenue, north side, from 55 feet to 98 feet and 125 feet to 210 feet west of Lane Street (128-foot zone).

SCHOOL BUS ZONE, 7 AM TO 6 PM, SCHOOL DAYS - ESTABLISH
1520 Oakdale, north side, from 55 feet to 98 feet west of Lane Street (43-foot zone)

SCHOOL BUS ZONE, 9 AM TO 2 PM, SCHOOL DAYS - ESTABLISH
"1540" Oakdale Avenue, north side, from 338 feet to 388 feet and 400 feet to 450 feet west of Lane Street (100-foot zone)

PARKING METER AREA 3, (9 AM TO 6PM, MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 2-HOUR TIME LIMIT)- RESCIND
Tiffany Avenue, east side, from Duncan Street to 182 feet southerly (existing conditions)

RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING AREA “Z,” 8 AM TO 6 PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY - RESCIND
PARKING METER AREA 3, (9 AM TO 6PM, MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 2-HOUR TIME LIMIT) - ESTABLISH
Tiffany Avenue, east side, from 29th Street to 170 feet northerly

TOW-AWAY, NO STOPPING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH
MULTIPLE RIGHT TURN LANES - ESTABLISH
San Jose Street, west side, from Sagamore Street to a point 126 feet northerly.

NO PARKING EXCEPT TRUCKS WITH FARMER'S MARKET PARKING PERMIT, 6 AM TO 9:30 AM, WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY - ESTABLISH
Hyde Street, east side, from Fulton Street to 123 feet southerly; and,
McAllister Street, south side, from Hyde Street to 300 feet easterly.

MUNI BUS ZONES - ESTABLISH
Folsom Street, east side, from 18th Street to 100 feet southerly.

RED ZONE –RESCIND
17th Street, south side, from 30 feet to 20 feet west of Arkansas Street (reduces the existing 30-foot red zone to 20 feet).

RED ZONE – ESTABLISH
17th Street, south side, from Arkansas Street to 20 feet easterly (20-foot zone).

RED ZONE – EXTENSION
17th Street, north side, from 8 feet to 20 feet west of Arkansas Street (extends the existing 8-foot red zone an additional 12 feet, resulting in a 20-foot red zone); and,
17th Street, north side, from 10 feet to 20 feet east of Arkansas Street (extends the existing 10-foot red zone an additional 10 feet, resulting in a 20-foot red zone).

RIGHT LANE MUST TURN RIGHT - ESTABLISH
Northbound Clarendon Avenue at Panorama Drive

RED (NO PARKING ANYTIME) ZONES – ESTABLISH
SIDEWALK BULB – ESTABLISH
Clarendon Avenue, west side, from 131 feet to 196 feet north of the entrance to the school. Establish a 7-foot wide sidewalk bulb to facilitate a south side crossing at the intersection of Clarendon Avenue and Panorama Drive.

SCHOOL BUS LOADING ZONE, 7AM TO 5:30PM, SCHOOLDAYS – REVOKE
Clarendon Avenue, west side, from 130 feet to 195 feet north of the entrance of the school (65-foot zone).

SCHOOL BUS LOADING ZONE, 7AM TO 5:30PM, SCHOOLDAYS – ESTABLISH
Clarendon Avenue, west side, from 32 feet to 77 feet south of the entrance for the school (45-foot zone).

Submitted opinions will become part of the official public record and will be brought to the attention of the person(s) conducting the hearing.
