Ace On The Case expressed that in his view, the sponsor of the street closing permit for the Fillmore Street Jazz festival did not truly represent the businesses and residents in the area south of Geary and that the outreach was inadequate.

  • If A frame display units are being used then there must be a base surrounding any part of the frame that borders a path of travel. This will allow for a person with a walking cane to detect the structure

  • The sponsor pays for the cost of Parking Control Officers around Union Square on Saturday October 13, 2012
  • The sponsor runs notification ads of the race in local neighborhood newspapers several weeks in advance of the race
  • There is a public phone number which is activated several days before the race for people to call if there are any questions or issues which arise which should be included in the local ads
  • Residents and business notifications are delivered 2 weeks in advance with a list of persons provided to the SFMTA. The resident/business notifications are to be reviewed before distribution by SFMTA staff, 1 South Van Ness Ave., 7th Floor SF CA 94103-5417
