MINUTES OF THE MARCH 22, 2007 MEETING (ACTION ITEM)
The Committee with the exception of the Taxi Commission representative, who abstained, adopted the Minutes.

PUBLIC COMMENT
Members of the public may address ISCOTT members on matters that are within ISCOTT’s purview and are not on today’s agenda.

CONSENT CALENDAR (ACTION ITEM)
All matters hereunder constitute a consent calendar are considered to be routine by ISCOTT and will be acted upon by a single vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Committee or if the public so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered as a separate item.

1. Taylor Street, 800 Block, East Side - Motorycle Parking
DPT recommends a public hearing to establish motorcycle parking on the east side of Taylor Street, from Pine Street to 25-feet southerly (accommodates 6motorcycle spaces).

2. Fulton Street at 22nd Avenue - No Parking Anytime
DPT recommends a public hearing to establish a red zone between the twocrosswalks of 22nd Avenue on the south side of Fulton Street.

3. 5th Avenue, 1500 Block, southern terminus of street - No Parking Anytime
DPT recommends a public hearing to consider establishing a 'No Parking Anytime' zone on the south side of 5th Avenue, 135 feet westerly from the driveway of 1580 5th Avenue to the driveway of 1585 - 5th Avenue.

4. Delong Street, south of Santa Cruz - Residential Permit Parking Extension
DPT recommends a public hearing to consider extending Area "B" to include DeLong Street, west side, from Santa Cruz Avenue to the Daly City border (1‑1/2blocks) with a 2-hour time limit, 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.

5. Prado, Cervantes, Avila - Residential Permit Parking - Extension
DPT recommends a public hearing to consider extending Area "M" to include the center of the intersection of Avila Street, Cernantes Boulevard and Prado Street with a 2-hour time limit, 8AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday.

a) If required by the San Francisco Police Department, payment for their ser vices is due by July 1, 2007;
b) Payment for Department of Traffic Engineering including advance signing and enforcement personnel is due by July 1, 2007;
c) The sponsor pays for the advance signing of Haight Street and 16th Street, the Embarcadero and detour signing on the day of the event;
d) The sponsor pays for the cost of rerouting any impacted electric bus lines;
e) The sponsor submits a final sit plan for the start/finish by July 1, 2007; and
f) The sponsor publicizes the event through the newspaper and other media indicating the streets that are open.

2. 680 Point Lobos Avenue - Overwide Driveway
DPW presents a request for an overwide driveway to serve as a new parking lot entrance near Merrie Way.
APPROVED.

3. 11th Street, Unit Block, East Side - Red Zone
DPT recommends under Section 33.1 of the San Francisco Traffic Code establishing a red zone on the east side of 11th Street, unit block, from 159 feet south of Market Street to 66 feet southerly.
APPROVED.

4. Clement Street and 42nd Avenue - Bus Zones
Pursuant to Section 33.1 of the Traffic Code and until the Fort Miley construction is complete, Muni Service Planning requests a temporary bus zone and terminal on Clement Street, north side, from 180 feet to 240 feet west of 42nd Avenue (a60-foot extension to an existing 180 foot zone).
APPROVED.

5. Diamond Street at Bosworth Street - Tow-Away, No Stopping Anytime
DPT recommends a public hearing to consier establishing a part-time Tow-Away No Stopping Anytime on the west side of Diamond Street, from Bosworth Street to 22 feet northerly, Monday - Friday, 3PM-6PM.
APPROVED.

6. Horne Avenue at Galvez Avenue - STOP Signs
MTA recommends temporary STOP signs under Traffic Code Section 33.1 stopping northbound and southbound Horne Avenue at Galvez Avenue during construction of Robinson Street in Hunters Point Shipyard.
APPROVED.

7. Van Ness Avenue, between Fell and Market Streets – Median
DPT presents DPW’s proposal to landscape and widen center median island on Van Ness Avenue between Fell and Market Streets.
APPROVED.
