Minutes of the Call to order: A meeting of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's Multi-modal Accessibility Advisory Committee was held at the offices of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency on June 21, 2012. The meeting convened at 1 p.m., Ms. Dawson, Chair presiding, and Mr. Wong, Secretary. Members in attendance: Les Clark, Jan Copriviza, Ed Evans, Joseph Flanagan, Marc Grossman, Miro Kielbus, Kevin Lee, David Longa, Jeanne Lynch, Bruce Morgan, Vernon Smith (via phone), Roland Wong, Byron Yan Members not in attendance: Jessica Ellis, and Randall Glock all of whom had excused absences Guests and staff in attendance: Jakke Bryson, Jean M. Green, Marie Marchese, Jane Redmond, Annette Williams (staff), Virginia Rathke (staff), Kate Toran (staff), Matthew West (staff) Approval of Agenda: Ms. Toran asked if we could make time to show a draft of the All Door Boarding Video, which the SFMTA MAAC Communications Subcommittee has been working on. Mr. Kilebus asked if we could set aside time during item 9 to also bring up New Business. Motion was made by Mr. Morgan and seconded to approve the agenda with the modification that item number 7 now includes a presentation of the All Door Boarding Video, and that “New Business” be added to item number 9. Motion Carried. Approval of the April and May Minutes: Ms. Bryson noted that there was no note of the guests in attendance in the minutes for the May 2012 meeting. Motion was made by Mr. Clark and seconded to approve both the April and May minutes with the modification that “Guests in attendance” be added to the May minutes. Motion Carried. Public comment: Jakkee Bryson stated that she is concerned with the Muni Budget. The budget seems to include 34 million dollars for bicycle improvements and not a single penny for any transit improvements, The SFMTA MAAC should make an effort to attend any future meetings where the budget is discussed, and bring this up. Elections: The SFMTA MAAC held elections with the results as follows: Elected to a 2 year term of membership on the SFMTA MAAC:
Elected to a one year term as Chair of the SFMTA MAAC: David Longa Elected to a one year term as Vice Chair of the SFMTA MAAC: Les Clark Re - elected to a one year term as Secretary to the SFMTA MAAC: Roland Wong Elected to a one year term as Liaison to the SFMTA MAAC: Miro Kielbus Continued from last meeting: Member Photos: SFMTA MAAC Members who had not yet taken their photos, had their photos taken Updates: All Door Boarding – Tabled until the July Meeting Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit – Tabled until the July Meeting Announcements: None.
