SAN FRANCISCO BOARD OF DIRECTORS MINUTES Tuesday, July 13, 2010 REGULAR MEETING AND CLOSED SESSION COMMITTEE Nathaniel P. Ford, Sr. Roberta Boomer ORDER OF BUSINESS 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Chairman Beach at 9:05 a.m. 2. Roll Call Present:
3. Approval of Minutes On motion to approve the minutes of the May 11, 2010 Regular Meeting: unanimously approved. 4. Executive Director’s Report No report. 5. Public Comment None. 6. Discussion of upcoming SFMTA Board/Parking Authority Commission items. (No explanatory documents.)

Sonali Bose, director, Finance and Information Technology, Doug Shoemaker and Craig Edelman, Mayor’s Office of Housing, presented the staff report. Chairman Beach stated that the Board would need to see a comprehensive finance and implementation plan including additional operating costs. Director Lee asked for information about the status of other maintenance yards including capacity, location, number of employees, age, capital needs and costs and how they are currently equipped. No public comment.
Travis Fox, manager, Organizational Analysis and Reporting presented the staff report. No public comment.
John Haley, director, Transit Services presented the staff report. Director Lee requested information regarding attendance and overtime for parking control officers. Chairman Beach suggested that a presentation be made at a Board workshop regarding operator overtime including a comparison of pay to platform time. No public comment. 7. Discussion regarding the operation of the SFMTA Board of Directors/Parking Authority Commission.
Board Secretary Boomer reviewed the audit recommendations. No public comment. 8. Discussion and vote pursuant to Administrative Code Section 67.10(d) as to whether to conduct a closed session and invoke the attorney‑client privilege. No action. The closed session was cancelled.
