3. Approval of Minutes On motion to approve the minutes of the October 12, 2010: unanimously approved. 4. Executive Director’s Report No report. 5. Public Comment None. 6. Discussion of upcoming SFMTA Board/Parking Authority Commission items. (No explanatory documents.)
Jason Elliot, policy advisor, Office of Mayor Newsom, discussed the outline of the draft report. John Haley, Director, Transit Services, presented the service restoration plan including service enhancements and efficiencies that would contribute to reduced travel time. The committee has worked up a list of possible actions including: double berthing in the subway, all door boarding on the rubber tire fleet, stop optimization, late night service, and supplemental service on the N Judah line and along the Mission corridor. No public comment.
Tim Papandreou, deputy director, Sustainable Streets, presented the report. No public comment. 7. Discussion regarding the operation of the SFMTA Board of Directors/Parking Authority Commission.
PAG members discussed the 2011 schedule and recommended canceling meetings in March, July, August, October and December. They also discussed holding a workshop early in 2011 and in July. No public comment. 8. Discussion and vote pursuant to Administrative Code Section 67.10(d) as to whether to conduct a closed session and invoke the attorney‑client privilege. The closed session was cancelled.
