February 2, 2012 Cab Companies Carbon Footprint The San Francisco Ordinance 2008-026 called for the reduction of GHG emissions by 20% from 1990 levels by 2012.A Carbon Footprint is the amount of carbon dioxide emitted. The target Carbon Footprint reduction goal was determined to be (see Clean Air Taxi: Measuring Emissions) 38 tons per vehicle per year for each Cab Company. Here were each Cab Company’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions as of February 2, 2012:
