Your participation is critical to the success of the Transit Effectiveness Project. The SFMTA completed its latest round of community meetings in May 2012, and the next round will occur later this year. In the meantime, you may review the TEP proposals and send us your feedback.

Past Meetings

SFMTA held community meetings and workshops on the Rapid proposals during the spring of 2012. Over 300 people participated in the meetings, and we are now reviewing their feedback as we refine the Rapid proposals. In particular, staff met with the following constituent groups:

  • Customers and residents at ten community workshops held around the City (below), as well as received comments online and through the multilingual 311 call center
  • Neighborhood resident and merchant associations
  • Citizen advisory committees
  • Muni Accessibility Advisory Committee
  • Local transportation advocacy groups

At these conversations, customers learned about the Rapid corridor proposals, discussed proposal elements, and provided feedback to Muni staff. The spring 2012 community workshops were held at the following locations:
