CONSENT CALENDARAll matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Calendar, are considered to be routine by the Commission and will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Commission. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Commission so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered as a separate item.
A. Consideration of the Minutes for the July 24, 2007 Taxicab Commission Meeting.
B. Recommendation of the Taxi Detail for consideration of Public Passenger Vehicle Driver permit to:
C. Consideration of the Taxi Commission to remove the following applicant name(s) from the Taxicab/Ramp Taxi waiting list in accordance with Municipal Police Code Section 1080(c)(2) for failure to respond and/or submit an application:
*Applicant was previously removed and reinstated back on to the PC&N Waiting List. This is the second removal-see memorandum.
D. Consideration of the Taxi Commission to grant a Taxicab or Ramp Taxicab Medallion Holder Permit to:
*Due to an appeal filed with the Board Of Appeals, the issuance of the approved new medallions are on hold until a decision has been reached by the BOA. Taxi Commission will consider granting the next available ramped medallions available to these applicants.
E. Consideration to reinstate applicant to the Public Convenience and Necessity Waiting List:
*Applicant was on notice on July 24, 2007 for a time waiver but was voted ineligible for a ramp medallion permit at the July 24th TXC meeting.
F. Consideration of the Taxi Commission to grant a time waiver:
*Applicant was made ineligible for a ramp medallion permit at the July 24, 2007 TXC meeting.

NOTICEThis is not an agenda item for this meeting, but serves as a public notice. The following individuals have filed and completed applications for Taxicab Medallion Holder Permits, Ramped Taxicab Medallion Holder Permits or Color Scheme Changes which will be reviewed and considered on the August 28, 2007 hearing.

Public Comment may be limited to two minutes for a specific item number depending on the number of speakers. Copies of the Commission’s “Procedures for Protesting the Prospective Issuance of a Taxicab/Ramped Taxi Permit (Medallion)” are available upon request at the San Francisco Police Taxicab Detail, 850 Bryant Street, Room 458, each Business day from 9am to 4pm (Documents distributed are in parenthesis) Copies of obtainable documents may be viewed or obtained at the San Francisco Police Taxicab Detail, 850 Bryant Street, Room 458. Accessible seating for persons with disabilities (including those using wheelchairs) will be available.
Members of the public who wish to listen to, and/or participate in this meeting but are unable to physically attend, may call the Taxi Commission Bridge Line at (415) 554-9632. Call after 6:30 pm and a staff person will handle requests to speak at the appropriate times on the agenda.
