Update: There will not be a meeting on April 30, 2010.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), which operates the Municipal Railway (Muni), is proposing service modifications to most Muni bus routes and rail lines (as well as other cost-saving and revenue-generating solutions) to close a $16.9 million shortfall in its Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 Operating Budget, which ends on June 30. Significant budget deficits are also projected for Fiscal Years 2011 and 2012.

The meetings below provide an opportunity for members of the public to learn more and provide feedback.

SFMTA Board Meetings (Room 400, City Hall)

FY 2011-2012 Focus
- Tuesday, March 2 – Noon, minutes
- Tuesday, March 30 – 9 a.m., minutes
- Tuesday, April 6 – 2 p.m. (public hearing, possible Board Action)
- Tuesday, April 20 – 2 p.m. (public hearing, possible Board Action)
- Friday, April 30 – No meeting
FY 2010 Focus
- Friday, Jan. 29 – 10 a.m., minutes
- Friday, Feb. 26 – 9 a.m., minutes (public hearing, possible Board action

Town Hall Meetings (1 South Van Ness Avenue, 2nd Floor Atrium)

FY 2011-2012 Focus
- Wednesday, March 10 – 6 p.m.
- Saturday, March 20 – 10 a.m.
FY 2010 Focus
- Saturday, Feb. 6 – 10 a.m. to Noon
- Tuesday, Feb. 9 – 6 to 8 p.m.
